Traditional cuisine is a vibrant reflection of local culture, where every dish tells a story steeped in history. In every bite, you taste not just pasta food, but the rich tapestry of a community’s heritage, inviting all to savor the essence of home.
Ikel Malta u bnin!
Yesterday we enjoyed a very nice dinner at Ta Giorgi. Although we did not take the recommended set menu which has a varied selection, our a la carte choices reflected the concept of this most original eatery- authentic Maltese dishes inspired by the Nanna’s homemade fare- dishes that we sometimes have forgotten ( tripe vegetable soup, stuffed marrows etc; ) and certainly not just the usual selection one normally find in a fenkata – although the fired rabbit was exquisite. Highly recommended.
If you want genuine Maltese cuisine then this is the place to go. The patience and love behind the traditional cooking is obvious in the taste and texture of the food. The ambience is typical Maltese “kazin” for a delightful change than the usual eateries. Highly recommended
