Perched high on the cliff edge, Viewpoint Boutique Living stands as a family-run boutique hotel, a dream that has finally come to life. This new concept is laid over a historic gem, with the house itself dating back to the days of the Knights of St. John, boasting a history of over 300 years.
In its past, Viewpoint was known as Il-Kenur Restaurant, a place where the late Karmena Said invested much passion and dedication. It was renowned as one of Gozo’s first and finest restaurants and wedding venues, particularly famous for its Gozo Nights, where traditional food was served amidst the ambiance of folk guitar music, making it the place to dine at in the 1970s.
Today, with great pleasure, Karmena’s son George and his wife Doreen welcome guests to Viewpoint Boutique Living. The rooms have been individually designed and beautifully furnished in a classic retro style to match the luxurious and laid-back natural ambiance that the place evokes. Each room is named after an indigenous tree, contributing to the pleasant and serene atmosphere felt throughout the hotel.
