Malta 5D is a multilingual, historical and cultural attraction that has been intelligently created to suit all ages and attract a diverse audience utilising the new generation 5D cinema technology. This includes an amazing 3D film enhanced with special effects such as leg ticklers, water spray, air blasts, scents and moving seats. Malta 5D takes you on an enchanting voyage beyond time to discover and feel the thrilling events that shaped Malta’s history. Throughout the film, the audience is captivated by the aerial views which delve into the past and present episodes. Together with the ‘Maltese Falcon’, spectators soar over the archipelago and dive into the open seas, twist and turn around narrow quaint streets of villages and hold their breath against on-coming attacks of spears and bombs! A memorable adventure to witness the evidence of human life in the various pre-historic temples and bounce off to the victorious era of the Knights of St John right up to Malta’s heroic approach during World War II. “

The theatre is situated in the heart of Valletta and easily accessible… by taxi, a short walk from the main bus terminus, from the main bus stop for open-top buses, from the ferry harbour which services Sliema – Marsamxetto, from Lascaris Wharf and the 3 Cities and from the upper Barrakka Gardens which services the lift to the Valletta Cruise Port.

The commentary is now available in 17 different languages and shows run daily every 30 minutes.

The theatre holds a total of 74 seats, 64 of which are moving seats and an additional 10 of non-moving seats. Moving seats may be stationary on request.
